CSS Rewards is an initiative that aims to recognise and reward CSSs that excel in Shopping ads best practices. CSSs that improve in specified areas will be eligible for prizes.
Only CSS Partners are eligible to participate in “CSS Rewards”, as a benefit of the CSS Partner Program. You can review requirements and benefits of the CSS Partner Program here.
CSS Rewards is focused on Optiscore (Shopping Optimization Score). Optiscore measures the hygiene of Shopping ads campaigns and Merchant Center feeds, providing personalized and real-time recommendations that are tailored to each account’s performance. We define hygiene as the adoption and use of core Shopping features that help campaigns and feeds perform efficiently. Accounts with strong Optiscore performance are expected to deliver better performance.
In Q4 2021, CSSs’ performance will be evaluated based on targets shared by their CSS Account Managers. Targets will be calculated specifically for each CSS, by evaluating the hygiene needs of each CSS. The CSS Account Manager will provide the CSS with an Optiscore growth target, based on the available headroom and opportunities for their account. This headroom will be calculated in percentages at the beginning of each quarter. During the quarter, the CSS will be updated on their progress by their CSS Account Manager.
Each CSS that is successful according to the criteria above will receive an online achievement certificate, as well as prizes according to the level of achievement.

An example (targets are subject to change): At the beginning of the quarter, CSS A has an Optiscore of 50 (headroom available: 50), which means the following structure would apply:
Prize Package 1:
CSS needs to accrue +7.5 points (15% of 50)
Prize Package 2:
CSS needs to accrue +10 points (20% of 50)
Prize Package 3:
CSS needs to accrue +15 points (30% of 50)
In order to participate in the CSS Rewards, CSS Partners should contact their CSS Account Managers to sign up for the program.
Participant CSS Partners will be informed about their weekly progress by their CSS Account Manager. Once a CSS participates in the program, the CSS Account Manager will communicate all necessary details. Please contact your CSS Account Manager for more information.

Start date is the 11th of October 2021.
End date is the 31st of December 2021.
You can sign up to the program at any stage in Q4, but your progress will be calculated from the start of the program. Please contact your CSS Account Manager if you want to participate.
