Adding AI to improve your shopping ads

To create a competitive edge for shopping campaigns, the relevancy, bid, and market are important factors. Therefore, Producthero’s platform has tools for product content optimization, product segmentation, and price benchmarks. During 2024, Producthero has focussed on the AI capabilities to improve product content and product titles even further and in a more automated way. With the help of Google’s CSS team we were able to develop Products AI –A solution that optimizes product content using AI.

The Challenge: Scalable & Stable

Producthero wanted to leverage Large Language Model (LLM) technology to deliver feed optimization at scale to its 12K+ merchant base. However, the final decision on the LLM platform remained pending, as the team prioritized selecting a solution that is stable, scalable, and capable of providing real value to Producthero's customers.

The Approach: Vertex AI

Through a comparative analysis of Vertex AI and OpenAI, we showcased Vertex AI's capabilities tailored to meet Producthero's specific requirements. Comprehensive workshops were conducted to highlight how Vertex AI's features aligned with and supported Producthero's unique use case.

Result: International Growth

In late Q3, Producthero announced the public launch of Products AI, with 400 clients already onboarded and testing underway. Additional clients are being added to the pipeline, highlighting Producthero's rapid growth. Producthero's overall success is driven by two key factors: delivering independent, top-tier support as a premium Google CSS partner and developing innovative tools that enhance campaign performance. Serving both the largest retailers and small webshops across 21 European countries, Producthero gains valuable insights into the needs of advertisers, agencies, and consumers.
