The challenge
Horostudio provides unique, customized gifts and decorations, with a focus on high-quality wood crafting and personalized designs. It had been generating stable sales but lacked the advanced segmentation needed for scalable growth in a highly seasonal business sector.
The e-commerce brand needed to increase revenue from Shopping ads and reduce its dependence on a small number of best-selling products.
Its primary challenge was finding a way to scale campaigns across its entire product catalog while maintaining stable profitability during off-season periods.
The approach
Shopping Ads
To scale efficiently, Horostudio used Performance Max campaigns and Shopping ads, rebuilding its account architecture. It segmented its catalog by category and seasonality to dynamically adjust budgets. Working with Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) Sembot, Horostudio optimized the product feed to act as a performance channel. It used profitability-based rules to focus budget on high- return items while excluding lower-performing products from the auctions.
Sembot provided valuable feed optimization tools that allowed Horostudio to actively manage its product data as a performance channel rather than a static source.
This expanded product visibility across relevant search queries.
The results
Over two years, the new architecture significantly improved the scale and efficiency of Horostudio’s Shopping ads. By actively managing its feed, the company expanded visibility across its catalog, allowing previously underperforming products to drive sales. The strategy boosted conversions by 94%, conversion value by 113%, and return on ad spend (ROAS) by 30%.
Horostudio successfully captured peak seasonal demand and maintained strong profitability,
achieving controlled growth while evaluating new product lines for future expansion.
